Exams are finished, and it's time for some new stuff in my gallery!!! Yay! lol...

Gonna be more photography over the next little while, more zoos and aquariums are opening for the season, and I'll be practicing with my new camera! But no worries, there will also be more digitial, and possibly traditional art over the coming weeks! :nod:

'Lovable but Horrible'

This is one of my all-time favourite drawings that I've done... every time I look at it, it just makes me happy! Normally when I look at a piece of work that I've done, all I can see are flaws... but I just adore this one! I love the Gremlin, I think he turned out really great!
I hope that one day Joe Dante will own the original... that would be too awesome for words!

Work...
Ok, things have been so crazy for me the last few weeks! I’m working nearly full-time as a graphic artist, it is an amazing job, and an even more amazing opportunity. I usually have 5 or so pieces a week to do, which keeps me very busy. Don’t get much time to myself...
This explains my relative inactivity here on dA... and my total lack of drawing/painting submissions. I can’t post what I’ve been working on for work because technically the copyright doesn’t belong to me. I’m hoping to get proper permission to show off some of this work soon, but can’t promise anything.

Artist’s Block...
I’ve actually had some time to do whatever I want in the last two days, but it doesn’t matter, because sadly... I’m horribly unable to do anything artistic!!! I am totally inspired, there are several things that I REALLY want to paint, but every time I try, I fail miserably. This is really getting on my nerves. Usually, I have the ability but not the inspiration. Currently I have more inspiration than normal, but can’t seem to get it out on paper (or the tablet, as the case may be). UGH!!! I’m going crazy here!!!
How do you deal with artist’s block? How do you get over it?!?

Deviant of Many Talents
More like Deviant of many obsessions... my muse is scatterbrained, and keeps me constantly striving in a dozen directions all at once. I love Gremlins and Labyrinth, Phantom of the Opera, Cetaceans of all kids (belugas in particular... they are just such amazing creatures! Also love all manner of Whales and Dolphins, including orcas of course).
I love to draw using traditional media, and paint digitally, although I also sculpt, and practice photography... which explains the motley nature of my gallery!
